Was able to park next to a nice red van!
Spotted on the street in Park Slope. Could it be the same one?
What we have here is an unsurprisingly common sight – two vans relying on the motive power of another vehicle to get them to where they need to be. Although this might be a bad situation for most drivers, this is the life that VW owners have chosen. These were spotted in deep Brooklyn – also unsurprising.
Here we have two more vans that made the trip down to Bonnaroo. These vans are some of the lucky few that actually made it all the way to Tennessee without breaking down. No joke, most of the vans sitting in the 3+ hour wait to get in did overheat and die. They were pushed in. Hilarious.
It’s pictures like this that remind you why summer is so nice, and winters in New York State – though not as bad as other places – can be pretty miserable. This red and white igloo of a van was spotted right after the initial ‘blizzard’ in New York, and looks quite scenic covered in some winter fluff. But does it run?
